Loretta Blanck, a dedicated professional in the senior care industry, is making significant strides in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and their families. As the Business Development and Family Liaison for Golden Heart Senior Care, Golden Brook Residential Care Home, Golden Years Concierge, and Golden Heart Hospice, Loretta’s unwavering commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care is evident in everything she does.

In her multifaceted role, Loretta works tirelessly to connect families with the resources and support their loved ones need. She focuses on building relationships within the community, ensuring that every client and family receives personalized attention and exceptional service throughout their care journey.

Loretta’s educational foundation from the University of Phoenix has equipped her with essential skills in learning and communication, which she combines with her deep-rooted passion for helping others. She strives to foster an environment of trust and collaboration so that families can navigate important decisions with confidence and peace of mind. Her empathetic approach and leadership have made her a trusted advocate for clients, as well as a respected partner among colleagues in the healthcare and senior services sectors.

The drive behind Loretta’s career in senior and hospice care comes from deeply personal experiences. Having witnessed her father’s struggle with diabetes, leading to a double amputation, and her mother’s battle with a heart condition and dementia, Loretta understands the challenges that families face in caregiving. “Those experiences deeply moved me and inspired me to dedicate my career to helping other families navigate similar journeys with compassion and dignity,” she shares.

Drawing guidance from mentors and family alike, Loretta credits her mentor, Cindy Jones, for first inspiring her to pursue a career in senior healthcare. Cindy instilled in her the values of compassion, integrity, and commitment to making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Loretta also finds inspiration in her daughter, Chanelle Smith, an executive at MAC Cosmetics, who demonstrates that it’s never too late to pursue one’s goals—having welcomed her first child at 39—and serves as a trusted source of advice and perspective.

For young women entering the healthcare industry, Loretta emphasizes that age or timing should never be a barrier to education or career growth. She encourages embracing lifelong learning, finding balance, and taking time for personal well-being, reminding aspiring professionals that hard work is vital, but self-care is equally important.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Loretta is known for her warm personality and strong sense of community. Whether she is coordinating outreach efforts, supporting families through transitions, or mentoring team members, Loretta brings honesty, empathy, and professionalism to every aspect of her work. She takes great pride in attending senior health fairs, answering questions, and providing reassurance to those who need it most, finding it deeply fulfilling to make a positive impact and build trust through genuine care.

At home, Loretta feels most grounded and grateful, surrounded by family. Her husband Bob lovingly cooks dinner each evening, and her three grandsons and granddaughter bring constant joy to her life. Their two dogs join her on neighborhood walks, moments she cherishes as part of life’s simple pleasures. Loretta also values community and joy, whether she’s socializing with neighbors or spending meaningful time with friends, always embracing connection and nurturing lasting relationships.

  • AAIS Celebrates 90 Years of Service to the Insurance Industry

A legacy built on expertise, collaboration, and trust since 1936.

Reaching our 90th anniversary is an extraordinary achievement that reflects the strength of our mission and the dedication of those who have supported this organization over the years.”
    — Ross Fisher, Interim CEO of AAIS

LISLE, IL, UNITED STATES, January 5, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The American Association of Insurance Services (AAIS) is celebrating 90 years of service to the insurance industry, marking a milestone that reflects nearly a century of innovation, collaboration, and industry leadership. Founded in 1936, AAIS is a national advisory organization committed to serving its Member carriers. As a not-for-profit, AAIS is governed by a diverse group of insurers who rely on the association for advisory, statistical, and regulatory services that support efficiency, consistency, and compliance.

Over the past nine decades, AAIS has evolved to meet the changing needs of the insurance marketplace, helping Members remain competitive in an increasingly complex and technology-driven environment. From its earliest days as a collaborative resource for insurers to its current role delivering modern product and regulatory solutions, AAIS continues to support Members as they adapt to industry change. Today, AAIS operates as a fully remote organization with more than 100 seasoned employees dedicated to advancing the insurance industry and providing quality service to Members across the country.

“Reaching our 90th anniversary is an extraordinary achievement that reflects the strength of our mission and the dedication of those who have supported this organization over the years,” said Ross Fisher, Interim Chief Executive Officer of AAIS. “AAIS has long been a trusted partner to the insurance community, and this milestone highlights the lasting value we continue to deliver to our Members, service providers, and industry partners. As we honor our history, we are equally focused on the future — advancing innovation, strengthening collaboration, and supporting the evolving needs of the industry.”

AAIS’s roots date to 1936, when the organization originated as an unincorporated association called the Mutual Marine Conference. In 1947, it merged with the Mutual Aircraft Conference to form the Transportation Insurance Rating Bureau (TIRB), a predecessor of AAIS.

In 1975, TIRB became the American Association of Insurance Services (AAIS) and established its headquarters in Chicago, Illinois. AAIS Services Corporation was incorporated under Delaware law in 1979. In 1984, AAIS created an Illinois not-for-profit corporation and was incorporated in Delaware as a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization. The organization relocated its headquarters from Chicago to Bensenville in 1981, to Wheaton in 2000, and then to Lisle in 2014.

The anniversary is especially meaningful to former President and CEO Paul Baiocchi, who dedicated 36 years to the organization, including 25 years as its leader from 1987 to 2012.

“Celebrating AAIS’s 90th anniversary is especially meaningful to me, having had the privilege of leading the organization for nearly a third of its history,” Baiocchi said. “I am incredibly proud of our remarkable staff — their expertise, dedication to our mission, and unwavering commitment to exceptional service. I am equally proud of the strong, trusted relationships we built with our Members, service providers, and AAIS Partners. For decades, companies of all sizes have relied on AAIS as a dependable and trusted resource, and that legacy continues today.”

As part of its anniversary celebration, AAIS has launched a dedicated 90th anniversary webpage featuring a commemorative video, historical timeline, and testimonials from staff, Members, and Partners. Additional content highlighting the organization’s legacy and impact will be shared throughout the year. The page is available at aaisonline.com/90years.

AAIS will continue to commemorate the milestone throughout 2026, recognizing the people, partnerships, and progress that have shaped the organization over the past nine decades. As AAIS enters its tenth decade, the organization remains committed to advancing innovation, fostering collaboration, and providing trusted solutions that strengthen the insurance industry for decades to come.

  • January Becomes a Critical Reset Point for eCommerce Accounting and Tax Planning

NEW YORK, NY, UNITED STATES, January 5, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — As the new year begins, many eCommerce sellers are turning their attention to financial cleanup, tax preparation, and forward-looking planning after a demanding holiday season. January has increasingly become a critical reset period for online businesses seeking clarity around profitability, compliance, and cash flow before the year accelerates.

Following Q4 sales spikes, returns, and advertising spend, sellers often enter January with complex financial records that require careful reconciliation. Inventory adjustments, cost-of-goods calculations, and multi-state tax obligations can quickly compound if left unaddressed. For founders managing fast-moving online operations, the start of the year presents an opportunity to regain control and establish a reliable financial foundation.

Post-Holiday Accounting Challenges for Online Sellers

Many online retailers close out the year with incomplete books, unreconciled payment processor data, and limited visibility into true margins. Without accurate monthly accounting, sellers risk making decisions based on outdated or misleading numbers. January offers a natural checkpoint to review performance, identify inefficiencies, and prepare for upcoming tax deadlines.

Common issues addressed at the beginning of the year include:

Reconciling holiday sales across multiple marketplaces

    Correcting inventory and cost-of-goods discrepancies

Reviewing sales tax exposure from new fulfillment locations

Identifying missed deductions and planning for estimated taxes

    Establishing clean, consistent monthly reporting

Addressing these items early helps prevent compounding errors later in the year and reduces stress as filing deadlines approach.

Proactive Planning Gains Importance in 2026

With tax regulations continuing to evolve and enforcement increasing across states, sellers are placing greater emphasis on proactive planning rather than reactive filing. January planning allows businesses to assess entity structure, evaluate compliance exposure, and implement legal strategies that reduce tax liability before profits accumulate.

Financial clarity at the start of the year also supports better operational decisions. Sellers with accurate monthly reports can evaluate advertising efficiency, manage inventory purchases more effectively, and forecast cash flow with confidence. This insight is especially valuable for brands preparing to scale or expand into new sales channels.

The Role of Specialized eCommerce Accounting

Online sellers face financial complexities that differ significantly from traditional businesses. Marketplace fees, inventory held in multiple jurisdictions, and real-time sales activity require accounting systems designed specifically for digital commerce. Firms specializing in this area focus on translating complex data into clear, actionable reports that founders can actually use.

AMZ Accountant, a U.S.-based virtual CPA firm, reports that January consistently sees increased demand from sellers seeking to clean up books and implement structured accounting workflows built for eCommerce operations. The firm works entirely online, allowing clients to access real-time financials through secure, paperless systems while receiving ongoing support throughout the year.

Setting the Tone for a Profitable Year

For many sellers, the difference between a reactive year and a profitable one is preparation. January provides the space to assess financial health, correct issues early, and establish systems that support growth rather than hinder it. Sellers who enter the year with accurate books and a clear tax strategy are better positioned to make informed decisions, avoid surprises, and scale sustainably.

As competition increases and compliance requirements tighten, financial clarity is no longer optional for eCommerce businesses. Starting the year with clean numbers, reliable reporting, and proactive planning has become a foundational step for long-term success.

    About AMZ Accountant

AMZ Accountant is a virtual CPA firm specializing in monthly accounting, bookkeeping, tax preparation, and advisory services for eCommerce businesses. Serving online sellers across the United States, the firm provides cloud-based financial support designed to simplify compliance, improve profitability, and give founders the clarity they need to grow with confidence.

  • Hurotics Achieves Milestone with 3 Consecutive CES Innovation Awards, Proves Unique Tech in the Wearable Robot Field

Hurotics is selected as the Honoree of the CES Innovation Awards 2026.

DONGJAK-GU, SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA, January 5, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Hurotics, an innovative wearable exosuit robot company (CEO Giuk Lee), announced on the 10th that the company achieved the milestone of winning the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) Innovation Award for three consecutive years at the world’s largest IT and consumer electronics exhibition.

Hurotics began its streak with the CES 2024 Innovation Award, continued in 2025, and reached CES 2026, earning recognition for innovation in the robotics category for three consecutive years. The company solidified its unmatched technological leadership in Korea’s wearable robot industry. This achievement holds significant meaning because it shows that Hurotics’ sustainable technological innovation capability gains global recognition rather than achieving a one-time result.

This award announcement came ahead of CES® 2026 (January 6–9, 2026, Las Vegas), the world’s most influential technology event. The CES Innovation Awards program, organized by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA)®, received a record-breaking 3,600 submissions and honors outstanding design and engineering in 36 technology product categories every year. An elite panel of industry experts, including media members, designers, and engineers, evaluated the level of innovation.

Hurotics’ three consecutive awards powerfully demonstrate the company’s unique design and control capabilities in wearable exosuit robots.

Hurotics’ core robot technology minimizes user burden with a lightweight design and maximizes practicality and safety by analyzing precise gait data and providing customized assistive force. In particular, Hurotics’ exosuit robot, used in rehabilitation medicine, detects a patient’s movements in real time and delivers cable-based actuation to the necessary muscles via an innovative mechanism. This mechanism overcomes the limitations of traditional heavy, bulky robots and sets a new standard for next-generation wearable robot technology.

Hurotics plans to accelerate its growth, leveraging the global credibility it has earned through three consecutive CES Innovation Awards. The company will expand wearable robot technology beyond rehabilitation medicine into industrial safety and daily assistance, firmly establishing itself as a robotics solutions provider that enhances human quality of life.

Hurotics CEO Giuk Lee said, “The result of winning CES Innovation Awards for three consecutive years comes from the relentless challenge and innovation of all Hurotics employees,” and added, “We will continue to strengthen our global competitiveness as a leader in wearable robot technology and pursue innovation that contributes to a healthier and happier life for humanity.”

  • Alaska’s Mining Revolution Is Creating a Sustainable, Smart, and Essential Future

ANCHORAGE, AK, UNITED STATES, January 5, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Alaska’s mining sector continues to drive opportunity across the state. In 2023, the average wage for workers in the industry hit $122,568. That amount is nearly double the state’s private-sector average. Over 11,800 people held mining-related positions last year, and more than 70% of those jobs went to Alaska residents.

The work reaches far beyond the mine sites. Businesses in over 90 communities supported the sector in 2023, contributing everything from transportation and engineering to catering & lodging. In total, $1.1 billion went to Alaska-based goods and service providers.

Mining helps fund public safety, education, and transportation. Mines were the largest property taxpayers in Fairbanks, Juneau, and the Northwest Arctic Borough. The state collected $136 million in government revenues from the industry, while local governments received $50 million. Mining is good for Alaska because of the overall impact on the economy and the consistent wage increases available for workers in the industry.

Support also extends to Alaska Native Regional and Village Corporations, which received $235 million in royalty payments last year. Since 1989, those payments have totaled $3.2 billion. Mining companies contributed $5.7 million to Alaska nonprofits, $1.5 million to the University of Alaska and vocational training programs, and $1.1 million to civic, business, and industry organizations.

  • Maono Technology to Showcase PD200W Hybrid Podcasting Microphone at CES 2026

LAS VEGAS, NV, UNITED STATES, January 5, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — As creators increasingly move between home studios, mobile setups, and live recording environments, Maono Technology will showcase creator-focused audio technology and upcoming releases designed for podcasting, streaming, gaming, vlogging, and professional content production. Maono will exhibit at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC), South Hall 1, Booth No. 31909, during CES 2026, scheduled for January 6–9, 2026.

CES convenes global consumer technology brands, startups, media, and industry stakeholders to preview new products and platform developments across the broader technology ecosystem. Maono’s CES 2026 booth is expected to provide hands-on access to the brand’s current lineup and a view into its forward-looking roadmap, with a focus on practical workflow needs that creators and remote professionals manage in real recording environments.

A primary featured product at the booth will be the Maono PD200W Hybrid Podcasting Microphone, a flagship example of Maono’s Hybrid Microphone approach, designed to support multiple connection methods within a single device. The PD200W combines wireless 2.4G operation with wired USB and XLR connectivity, enabling users to move between cable-free recording, computer-based production, and traditional professional audio setups without switching microphones. Maono’s product positioning for the PD200W centers on flexibility for podcasters, content creators, and remote professionals who may alternate between home studios, mobile setups, and on-location workflows.

Maono states that key PD200W innovations include triple-mode connectivity (wireless, USB, and XLR), onboard controls intended to simplify setup, and optional sound tuning through companion software Maono Link. The PD200W also supports dual-track recording through a single wireless receiver, allowing two microphones to record simultaneously with independent post-production control—an approach designed to streamline editing for interviews, co-hosted podcasts, and collaborative content formats.

Hybrid microphones were created to solve a real-world problem—creators shouldn’t have to choose between wireless convenience and professional wired performance,” said Wilson Wang, Product Manager for Maono. “We’re seeing creators demand equipment that adapts to their workflow, not the other way around. Hybrid microphones remove unnecessary complexity by allowing users to switch seamlessly between wireless and wired environments without changing gear, helping them focus more on creating and less on setup.”

In addition to the PD200W Hybrid, Maono plans to display other microphones and audio interfaces from its lineup, including products that form part of the company’s broader Hybrid Microphone roadmap and upcoming releases. Attendees, partners, and media are invited to visit Booth 31909 for live demos and workflow-focused discussions.

Since its launch, Aimee has quickly moved from a novel tool to an indispensable component of the family-building journey, demonstrating the critical role AI can play in providing efficient, transparent, and empathetic support.

The new data confirms that Aimee is significantly accelerating the typically long and emotionally taxing process of finding a suitable surrogate or donor.

Early user engagement data highlights Aimee’s success in cutting through the complexity of fertility journeys:
