BHG 2025-2CON is a 100% consumer loan transaction, highlighting the growing demand for the consumer loan product.

DAVIE, FL / ACCESS Newswire / August 18, 2025 / BHG Financial, the leader in small business lending and facilitating unsecured personal loans and creator of one of the largest community bank networks in the country, sponsored BHG 2025-2CON, a $500 million ABS transaction that closed on August 14, 2025. This is the largest ABS transaction for the company to date.

BHG 2025-2CON priced at a weighted average coupon of 5.25% with a 99% advance rate, a meaningful reduction in cost of funds compared to BHG Financial’s prior transaction, BHG 2025-1CON.

The transaction was received favorably by investors, generating orders exceeding $1.51 billion, representing a 3.0x oversubscription at the upsized amount. The strong investor demand allowed BHG Financial to upsize the transaction while tightening the weighted average spread, which resulted in the largest gross spread of any preceding ABS deal.

This marks the 11th 144A ABS transaction sponsored by BHG since the start of its securitization program in 2020, and the third to be collateralized by 100% consumer loans originated by Pinnacle Bank and County Bank. The other eight securitizations sponsored by BHG Financial included a mix of small business commercial and consumer loans.

NV-387 has successfully completed a Phase I clinical trial and is being advanced into Phase II clinical trials.

Recently, increase in inflammation, and particularly the cytokine IL-6, caused by viral infections has been found to be linked to an increased risk of resurgence of metastatic cancer, in a study of COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2 infection) and breast cancer, as well as Influenza virus infections and cancer [1] . This study has further substantiated that viral infections can lead to resurgence of metastatic cancers by re-activating “sleeping” cancer cells.

“NV-387 is a remarkable antiviral drug, in that it not only attacks the virus, but also reduces inflammation, calming the human immune system so that untoward effects do not take place,” said Anil R. COVID-19 has become endemic globally, with generally two waves every year. The summer surge is already occurring in the USA, with approximately 4,000 hospitalizations per week in the week ending July 26 at the beginning of the surge, fueled by ever-changing variants [2] . Influenza virus is a well-known endemic virus that causes pandemics globally. RSV is an endemic virus that causes particularly severe diseases in infants and children as well as adults. Measles virus causes “immune system amnesia” and is increasing globally.

NV-387 is the only antiviral drug that has been uniquely found to be effective in the treatment of lethal lung viral infections caused by all of these viruses in animal model studies that are predictive of human clinical effectiveness.

This clearly demonstrates the unmet medical need for NV-387, a broad-spectrum antiviral that the viruses cannot escape even as new variants are created. In contrast, antibodies and vaccines readily fail with new variants arising, as is now well known.

NV-387 treatment has been found to reduce the level of IL-6 in lethal viral infections causing lung diseases in animal models. Excellent protection of lungs was found to occur in NV-387-treated animals but not in ribavirin treated animals in a lethal RSV infection study. Strong protection of lungs was found to occur in NV-387-treated animals in a lethal lung-infection of Influenza A/H3N2 study.

In this Influenza study, the approved drugs Tamiflu (oseltamivir), Rapivab (peramivib), and Xofluza (baloxavir) failed to protect the lungs of animals to any appreciable extent, indicating the superiority and clinical viability of NV-387.

The Company further investigated the extra-ordinary effect of NV-387 on protection of lungs in lethal viral infections. Reduction in inflammatory cytokines, particularly IL-6, was found to occur to an appreciable extent in NV-387 treated animals.

Tax experts warn that both casual bettors and high rollers could face unexpected tax bills under increased IRS scrutiny in 2025.

IRVINE, CALIFORNIA / ACCESS Newswire / August 18, 2025 / The Internal Revenue Service is stepping up enforcement on gambling-related income, including online sports betting, casino jackpots, and fantasy sports winnings. Industry experts say many Americans are unaware that even small gambling wins – whether from a Las Vegas slot machine or a mobile betting app – must be reported to the IRS, regardless of whether the casino or platform issues a tax form.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN / ACCESS Newswire / August 18, 2025 / Arrive AI (NASDAQ:ARAI) – a pioneering autonomous delivery network anchored by Arrive Points™ has obtained its ninth U.S. patent for its artificial intelligence (AI) powered, smart mailbox designed for autonomous and conventional package delivery.

“This latest patent establishes our Arrive Points as the first device ever to win patent protection for a smart mailbox docking station housing that is accessible by drone, robots and humans,” said Arrive AI CEO Dan O’Toole. “We were already ahead in this race to offer a secure endpoint for the last inch in the package delivery industry’s logistical last mile. The cements that first position status and further refines our product.”

O’Toole said improvements covered by the new patent – No. US 12,387,072 B2 – strengthen the security of the company’s Arrive Points by reducing ways the units could be tampered or damaged by weather or other impacts. They also enable the addition of autonomous battery exchange, drone charging pads and sensor arrays without needing a major structural redesign.

“It’s just another example of how we’re not just continuing to improve our product, but we’re protecting the intellectual property behind it as well,” he said. The company’s eight other patents focused on mechanical systems (temperature control, tethering, expandable floors, sanitization, sensors.) The patent covers embedding conduits, air channels, and electronics directly into the molded structure of the Arrive Points, which will reduce the need for secondary assembly. The design also enables integrated airflow paths for heating/cooling without post-mold drilling, protects wiring and sensors from tampering or environmental exposure and supports factory-sealed security and weatherproofing.

The manufacturingapproach is designed for mass production with fewer assembly steps, lowering cost and increasing durability. Different versions of the Arrive Points – for residential, commercial or industrial use – can be made by altering mold inserts rather than redesigning the entire unit. The design also enables Arrive AI to produce different units from a shared production line.

Past designs included temperature control, but this design integrates those controls into the physical shell of the unit. Thermal insulation is built into the mold layers. Earlier designs called for modular temperature controls to be added after the units were assembled.

Arrive AI is gearing up to begin mass production of its Arrive Points in the coming months. “The pace of technological improvements and new feature ideas has impacted our production,” O’Toole said. “We’re eager to get that rolling.”

O’Toole first filed for patent protection of his smart mailbox concept in 2014, edging Amazon by four days and other industry leaders by weeks. That foundational patent was secured in 2017. In addition to the basic design and temperature control element, Arrive AI’s other U.S. patents cover drone delivery management and tethering, anti-theft mechanisms and intelligent chain-of-custody control.
